We took the 9.30 a.m ferry from Air Batang Jetty to Tg. Gemok
From the day we arrived to the BBQ nite to the snorkeling trip
Everything has a drama add to it
Nothing was plain ordinary
Tioman was another adventure for us
Now it's time to go...
But, little that we know..
Another drama awaits us at Tg. Gemok & Mersing

{TiomaN} Ep. 6: the snorkeling
|
|
We started out at 10.30 am and came back around 3pm
The most interesting sea creature for me was:
the'gamat' (yg sungguh byk on our 1st snorkeling stop @shark point)
the sea snake (black n white stripes near some big rocks)
There were turtles & sharks..but I was too tired to snorkel far around
After 4 snorkeling spots, we stopped @Kg. Salang for lunch
That was when the drama(s) started
There's supposed to be another last snorkeling point after lunch
but the boatman headed back to the chalet..hehe

|
No island holiday will be complete
if you don't go snorkeling
This was the hightlight of our trip
We booked our snorkeling trip at the chalet's restaurant
RM100/pax including snorkel gear, fin & life jacket
Don't forget to bring along some snacks & drinks
It'll be a loooongggg trip with lotsa stop to snorkel

Atas daya usaha PM kita, cik[idah]
maka mlm tu ada BBQ
The chicken was marinated specially by our chef in Damansara Damai
Even the charcoal was brought from KL
That's what we call 'gigih' ..
As usual, nothing was easy in our trip
Nak pelekat api punya lah seksa
It tooked us more than an hour
Then with the help from the people nearby the restaurant..finally!
We had our dinner @10pm...
bbq chicken with bread..arab style..muehehe
(pdhal dah malu dah nak pi beli nasi kat restoran sebelah..after what had happened  )

Bila dah habis licin pinggan masing2
Mula la menapak ke Marine Park
Blh tahan jugak la berjln (Jan ckp dekat...tipuuu...!)
Bila dah seberang bukit, mcm confuse pun ada..ni ka taman lautnya?
Not as expected...
Tapi cantik ..ikan2 pun cantik...org pun blh tahan ramai
Kita usha2 dulu..testing berenang tepi pantai dulu
then bila dah confident skit, baru pi sewa life jacket & snorkel gear
ps: disinilah juga Idah practice skill snorkeling 'motorboat'. mcm2 gaya motorboat ada..hehe..abis lebam semua ikan2

Selesai recharge..kasi tegang urat saraf, mandi & solat
Kita soruuu dulu sebelum menapak ke marine park
Memandang keadaan masing2 yg dah letih, so we decided to have lunch
@ABC Restaurant
Menu for today:
1. Mix fried veggies
2. Sweet Sour Barracuda
3. Squid goreng tepung..hehe

{TiomaN} Ep. 1: the journey

|
Finally the day arrived
My journey was the longest of all
It started with a 4 hr journey to KL from Penang
Then another 6 hr journey from KL to Tanjung Gemok
We arrived @4a.m at Tjg Gemok
Dlm mamai2 tu..we boarded the 1st ferry to Tioman @ 5a.m (awaii tu weiii..)
The ferry trip was about 2 hrs
agaknya still mamai, kami tersalah turun jeti
Sepatutnya turun di jeti Air Batang, tapi kami turun di jeti Tekek
So we had to take the water taxi to Air Batang
Sesampai di jeti Air Batang, haruslah menapak lagi about 15mins
because our chalet was yg paling hujung sekali di Kg Air Batang itu
haihh...satu kelegaan bila dpt baring atas katil
ps: every trip perlu ada adegan amazing race utk memperlihatkan kesungguhan dan semangat ber'holiday' setiap ahli pasukan..haha..letih!..

(another) Teacher's Day
|
|
This year's Teacher's Day celebration was not as meriah as before
It started with the morning assembly (singing lagu tema, ikrar, perutusan etc  )
Then after senamrobik (sambil berkebaya), changed our clothes
and start game bola sepak & bola jaring (teachers VS kanak2)
for football, the teacher's team pancit awal..sampai nak pitam2
But for netball..
We beat the kanak2 rebena with 11-8 kot..hehe
lain kali minum rebena byk2 bg tinggi mcm teacher..senang nak shoot goal
Adalah tidak sah kalau tiada makanan..soooo...
while the kanak2 rebena were having their coloring & drawing contest
The teachers had their makan2
(with nasi beriani, mihun grg spore, cakes, kuihs and all kinds of deserts)
